The Autism Ambassadors were lucky enough to be invited to deliver their CPD-accredited training session, as part of the Havering employment project, to the engineering and construction firm Balfour Beatty, who are currently among the organisations working on the new Lower Thames Crossing, as well as many other significant projects.
The 18 delegates who attended were made up of several different organisations, all working on the LTC, and as usual, gave excellent feedback which reflected that they really enjoyed the training.
The training, was followed up by a great Q&A, which showed the audience were really engaged and wanted to know more.
Here's some of the feedback we received after the training;
Balfour Beatty recently offered some work experience to a young man that we have been supporting. He had a brilliant week with them, and thew details can be found here; https://www.sycamoretrust.org.uk/latest/article/Good-experience%21
Three of the Ambassadors; Frankie, Joseph and Robert are pictured at Balfour Beatty’s compound with the staff after the training.
