Wood you believe it?
It's the busiest time of the year for our Autism Ambassadors in the build up to Autism Acceptance Week, which starts next Monday. We have school visits every day this week and on Tuesday we were at Harold Wood Primary, where we gave two assemblies to a very polite and well behaved group of young students.
The welcome we received and the quality of the questions that we faced during and after the event was a great credit to the school who are among many of the local schools in Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge, who supporting our efforts next week. Harold Wood Primary has a very progressive approach to neuro-diversity and even has a communication board in the playground!
We enjoyed our visit and we look forward to returning again in the future!
