Monteagle Primary School in Dagenham took part in our Dare to be Different fundraising day before the Easter holiday to raise money for the charity. The children and staff joined in by wearing t-shirts promoting autism and the children dressed up in fun and unusual costumes to raise a total of £420.70.
Monteagle's ARP work with over 40 autistic children on a daily basis. The staff are dedicated to supporting the children to develop into the best versions of themselves, whilst also teaching them life skills they will need to help function as an independent adult.
It was all part of our activity during Autism Acceptance Week and we'd like to thank the staff and pupils at Monteagle for their wonderful efforts!
