Donations from Autism Acceptance Week are still arriving and we're delighted by photos of so many children (and adults) who joined in to raise awareness and acceptance of Autism.
We've been particularly excited to learn of the exploits of some of our youth club members, who took it upon themselves to raise money by tackling some domestic tasks and raising sponsorship money from family, friends and neighbours.
Our youth clubs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday came up with some really good ideas to raise money. Alessa and Alisha both decided that they would tidy their rooms for a month and Jeremy made breakfast for his sisters. We were touched to hear that Rhys read a bedtime story to his little sister for a week, and there was an outstanding effort from Harvey, who washed his dad's car for a month. In doing so, he raised over £400!
In total, they raised almost £1,000 for our campaign, and we we very impressed by all their efforts.
