We had a fantastic day in the sunshine on our third day at Lambourne End. Most of the morning was spent in the pool as one of our groups started with raft building while the other group abseiled down the climbing tower.
After a short break it was time to get everyine in the water for a series of 'interesting' challenges, including water aerobics, and racing. The young people loved the water, and as always, it took a great deal of persuading to get them out of the pool and back to base for lunch.
Our afternoon activity was something of a surprise. We hadn't known what to expect from rockets, and it turned out to be great fun, as we first designed and built, and then fired rockets across the field, thanks to a combination of water and air pressure. Watch out NASA!
