The Autism Ambassadors once again delivered their CPD-accredited training to the Havering Safeguarding Partnership at Romford Town Hall on Wednesday 6th November. The ten delegates who attended were from various organisations in Havering and, as usual, the feedback the Ambassadors received reflected that they really enjoyed the training.
The training, as always, was followed up by a great Q&A, which showed the audience were really engaged and wanted to know more. Here are some of the comments we received from our feedback forms;
I learnt about shutdowns that I haven't heard of before, also how to help autistic people with meltdowns
It was really important to meet and hear the trainers' experiences and advice which will help my work role.
This training validated the understanding I have and further supported my work with adults and children.
I enjoyed the interactive activities, it made me have a really good understanding of how autistic people feel.
