We took some of our cameras out to take nature photos in our version of the Three Peaks Challenge. We started at Parsloes Park, Becontree, then used our travel training skills learned in Alpha and Bravo clubs to take the bus to Valentines Park in Ilford, for more walking and more photography and a packed lunch in the sunshine.
We then took another bus to Romford where we finished our challenge at Raphaels Park Romford. Our young people used a range of cameras both individually and in pairs to take hundreds of photos of the blossoming trees and bushes, squirrels, ducks, geese and other natural wonders, under the expert scrutiny of our photography guru Robert, who provided technical support to the young people to help them master the cameras, when required.
We are looking forward to downloading and looking at all the photos next week and we’ll be sharing a selection on our website and social media. Thanks must go to Countryside Properties, who supported us during the lockdown with some funding to purchase some equipment, and some of that money was used to purchase some cameras.
