September date for Sycamore golf day
We will be returning to Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club in Havering for our annual golf day later this year. The event, which takes place this year on 6th September, will be our third visit to the course, just outside Romford, after two wonderful events in 2022 and 2023.
Last year we held a brilliant golf day, with over 50 players taking part and over £2,000 raised towards our vital products and services and we're hoping that we'll do even better this year.
The details of the event are much the same as the last two years. We will start with a roll and coffee before taking on the 18-hole course, finishing with a hot supper, raffle and prizes. We will also have the usual chipping and putting competitions for golfers before they go out on the course. The event will be held at Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club, Horsemanside, Tysea Hill, Romford, Essex, RM4 1JU and we're looking forward to what we hope will be a great event, and with any luck, we'll raise some money for Sycamore Trust.
Last year's event was won by Tony Dow with a score of 45 points, just ahead of Neil Parker in second place and Barry Edwards in third.

If you're not a golfer but would like to support us on the day, we're also looking for anyone who would be willing to sponsor a hole on the course for £100.
