Our Sensory Needs Workshop three weeks ago was such a success, we've decided to do another one!
The workshop is aimed at what the main senses are, how many there are, how to identify if your child/young person/adult is having difficulties with their senses and what you can put into place to help support them.
It will take place on Monday 20th January 2025 at our premises in Becontree, starting at 10am and is free of charge to families in Havering. Places must be booked in advance and if the last one is anything to go by, they will disappear very quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Email enquiries@sycamoretrust.org.uk or call 020 8517 9317 to reserve a space.
We received some very positive feedback from the workshop in October. Here's a selection of what parents/carers who took part said;
“After working with pre-school children for a number of years, it has benefitted me from learning more about sensory needs.”
“The ladies presenting were very kind and helpful”
“Very good session, things were explained in detail”
“Great session, lead by real life examples”
“I found it very useful and learnt so much stuff that I did not know before. I will be recommending to friends"
“The information provided was very useful”
