Yes, we know it's a bit early to be discussing Christmas, but it is time to start planning with the big day just six weeks away! At Sycamore Trust we know that Christmas can be a challenging time for the families that we support. In many cases, some of the more traditional Christmas experiences are not available to families for whom Autism is part of daily life, but we're hoping that we can redress the balance slightly with the return of our Sensory Santa.
Three years ago, prior to the pandemic, we offered a chance to visit Santa Claus to those families who perhaps had not been able to do so in the past, because of the sensory challenges presented by the more traditional Santa offerings that are available at this time of year and it proved to be very popular. So much so that we're offering Sensory Santa again this year at the Autism Hub in Romford's Liberty Centre.
Presently, we are booking between 4pm and 6pm on the four available dates, and they are as follows;
Monday 21st November
Monday 28th November
Monday 5th December
Monday 12th December
