Our fantastic SWAP sponsored walk took place yesterday and raised over £2,000!
For the second year running, our wonderful Speak With A Picture team of Ann Marie Lyons-Mummery and Cheryl Kearney led a group of parents, SEN professionals and Sycamore staff on the ten kilometre route from Romford to Dagenham and back again.
Our walkers started at the Autism Hub in Romford's Liberty Centre, making the 5km journey to Sycamore premises in Dagenham. The weather was cool, but mercifully dry and despite a brief detour, everyone arrived in Dagenham in good time. There was a brief stop for coffee and cake before setting out on the return journey.
Everyone arrived back at Romford by 2.30pm, tired but triumphant, having achieved their goal.
