Next week is Autism Acceptance Week! It’s a very important time of the year for us at Sycamore Trust as we approach Autism Acceptance Week, starting this coming Monday, 27th March.
As ever, we’re fully focused on raising awareness and promoting acceptance of Autism and raising a little money at the same time. It’s going to be a really busy week, starting on Monday as our Faces of Autism exhibition goes up in the Mercury Mall in Romford. At the same time, our Autism Ambassadors will be talking to the public in Romford Library and we’ll be raising our flag above Barking Town Hall. And that’s just Monday!
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we’re launching the Havering Autism Strategy at the Autism Hub in Romford and on Wednesday, our marvellous SWAP team will complete their sponsored walk from Romford to Dagenham and back. Tuesday will also see the launch of the Quiet Period in the Liberty Centre in Romford from 9am to 12pm. And we haven’t even mentioned Dare to be Different day on Friday!
It's such a busy week but you can still help us. To make a donation, scan the QR code here or go to https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/daretobedifferent
