Mercury rising!
On Monday 27th February, the Autism Ambassadors were fortunate enough to be invited to deliver a presentation to Customer Service staff at the Mercury Shopping Centre in Romford. The feedback was excellent and reflected that the audience really enjoyed the presentation!
The Ambassadors found out during the Q&A of the presentation that the Mercury have some special purple and green chairs with booths between them, situated near ASDA, which are great for autistic people to sit in if they feel overwhelmed at any point while shopping in the Mercury. This is an excellent step towards becoming autism-friendly and we hope that other venues will follow in a similar way!
