Lift Off for Havering strategy
The London Borough of Havering all age Autism Strategy is now live and available to members of the public following a successful launch event yesterday. We hosted the event at the Sycamore Trust UK Autism Hub in Romford's Liberty Centre, with several LBH councillors and senior staff present.
Cllr Darren Wise was among the councillors to address the gathered guests, as we toasted the launch of a document that has been in preparation for some considerable time. Sycamore Trust CEO Chris Gillbanks paid tribute to the efforts of LBH and Cllr Wise in particular as well as the efforts of the Sycamore Trust Steering Group, led by Danny French.
The launch of the strategy was timed to coincide with World Autism Acceptance Week 2023, and the Sycamore Trust Autism Hub has been hosting a number of events this week.
