King of Queens!
Sycamore's Robert Lamb was among the guest speakers at the Learning Disability Transition Conference 2024, which took place earlier this week.
Subjects covered included the role of the community LD nurse and the role of the BHRUT LD team in transition, but it was Robert who was first on stage after the opening remarks from Deputy Director for Safeguarding, Daniela Capasso. Robert spoke about his lived experience of autism and how he had overcome the various challenges he faced, and received enthusiastic applause at the end of his speech.
