There was a tight timetable on Tuesday morning for the Autism Ambassadors, who completed two presentations in the space of 90 minutes at Valence Primary School.
As we build up to Autism Acceptance Week, the Ambassadors have been very busy in the local area, promoting awareness and acceptance of Autism. Valence Primary School is very close to our Becontree premises, but the school is split across two sites, so we started first presentation at St George's Road at 10.30am, and immediately after finishing, Robert, Charlie, Francesca, Joseph and Steve headed immediately for the Bonham Road site, where the young people were patiently waiting for us.
Although it was a very young class, the pupils paid close attention and at the end of the session, there were some very interesting questions that the Ambassadors had to answer!
