Daggers Diversity Day 2024
We were proud to be involved in Dagenham & Redbridge FC Diversity Day once again on Saturday 24 February!
Robert and Joseph ran our stall which was visited by 22 members of the public and Digger the D&R FC mascot, all of whom were keen to find out what Sycamore Trust do. It was also nice to see our friends from other charities in Barking & Dagenham that work with adults or young people with a disability. As usual, the atmosphere at the event was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the event.
Once the pre-match fun wound-up, we were joined by five of our under-18 youth group members and three of our 18+ Peer Group members and enjoyed the match against Halifax Town FC. It was a good game, but sadly the Daggers lost 0-1.
Thank you to Denis and our other friends at Dagenham and Redbridge FC Community Trust for providing complimentary tickets for the match. It was a great afternoon!
