The annual Dagenham & Redbridge FC Diversity Day took place at Victoria Road last Saturday. A variety of local groups were on hand to celebrate diversity at our local football club, including representatives from the local Police, the NHS, Dagenham & Redbridge FC, Barking & Dagenham Progress Project and of course, Sycamore Trust.

After a busy couple of hours before the game, our staff and young people stayed to watch the game as the play-off chasing Daggers faced Yeovil Town in an important National League fixture. Sadly, the Daggers were beaten 2-0, although they remain seventh in the table, well placed to secure a place in the end of season play-offs. More importantly, our young people enjoyed the experience of watching live football, and we look forward to our next visit to Victoria Road.
