Busy weeks ahead!

Autism Acceptance week is almost here

We have lots of activity planned over the next two weeks as we approach the end of the month and Autism Acceptance Week.  It's always a busy time of year for us and this year is no exception.

We hope to see lots of our friends and supporters over the next fortnight - her are some of the importantn dates;

Mon 25th March (12pm)

Flag Raising Event at Havering Town Hall. Raise awareness across the borough of Autism and show the borough is inclusive for all.

Tues 26th March (9am)

Quiet Morning at the Liberty - To enable those who have sensory differences to be able to access shops and areas that would otherwise prove difficult

Weds 27th March (10am)

Sycamore Trust Walk & Talk. Raise awareness, meet new people, lessen social isolation, aid mental wellbeing and gain health benefits through getting those steps i.  There's still time to join in - click here for more information;  https://www.sycamoretrust.org.uk/latest/article/Look-who%27s-walking%21

Weds 27th March (10.30am)

Hub coffee morning with special guest - SEND Havering Voice parent forum chair Louise Brown who will be discussing with parents what the parent forum is, what it does and how they can help parents/carers.

Thurs 28th March

After Easter, three drop in sessions at the Havering Autism Hub

Tuesday 2nd April (11am to 1pm) Drop in if your child struggles with eating

Wednesday 3rd April (11am to 1pm) Drop in to get advice about how to support your child struggling with behaviour

Thursday 4th April (11am to 1pm) Drop in if you have a preschool child who is displaying signs of social communication difficulties

All sessions will be run from 11.00 am to 1pm at our Hub in Romford and you can just drop in. If you need to bring your children, that's not a problem, we have a sensory room with lots of toys and resources to keep them entertained.
