It was a wonderful year for Leyton Orient FC as the men's team won the EFL League Two championship and the women's team won the Greater London Women's Football League Division One North. The O's women secured the title at Brisbane Road a month ago with a 4-0 victory over Actonians Thirds.
It was also a great season for one of the young ladies in our girls group, Jaime Shaw. An inspirational autistic young adult who aspires to do her best in everything she does, Jamie currently volunteers for the younger girl’s group at Sycamore Trust whilst also playing for Orient, where she recently won captains Player of the Season for the U18’s team.
Next season brings an exciting time ahead for Jaime as she will also be starting university this year to study Advertising, so she will have plenty to keep her occupied, as well as continuing to play for Leyton Orient. Here at Sycamore Trust, we would like to send huge congratulations to Jaime for her achievements and we wish her lots of luck in her future endeavours.
