Rob's on the march!
Over the years, we've been fortunate enough that people have undertaken a number of challenges in aid of Sycamore Trust, but this latest fund-raising attempt is in a league of it's own. Rob Hawkins is going to be walking 106km around the Isle of Wight in May. And this isn't a gentle stroll in the sunshine we're talking about - this is roughly a full 24 hour day of walking, much of it in the middle of the night through some fairly rural areas.
Rob's an experienced walker and he is no stranger to this type of distance. In preparation, he will be completing a 250km virtual hike to the North Pole through December and a 50km hike around Bath at the end of March.
