Liberty makers!

The Sycamore Trust helped to bring colour to the Liberty Centre in Romford over the weekend, as some of our young people turned to their artistic side to help turn a blank wall into a colourful art exhibit.

For those of you that know the Liberty, there is a wooden hoarding in Swan Walk, near the double doors next to Beaverbrooks and the Liberty Centre management decided it could do with a splash of colour.  They asked local community groups to help with the decoration and Sycamore stepped up!  We had a small team that went to Romford on Saturday and a couple of hours after our arrival, a blank, white wall was considerably brighter!

The Centre are planning to decorate the entire hoarding and when it's completed, a slogan will emerge from the colours.  We were delighted to have played our part.  Thanks to Georgia and her team from Geo Jam, who returned on Sunday to finish the panel and a huge thank you to Joseph, Amy and Steve who came along to help on Saturday morning.
